The ArtThe three sphere tiled in the pattern of a hypercube, undergoing rotation. Viewed in stereographic projection.
The MathThe hypercube is the 4 dimensional analog of the cube. Like the cube, it can be 'puffed out' to tile the sphere (in the same way that a soccer ball is a tiling of the sphere). The faces of this hypercube tiling are regions of 'great spheres' and so appear as spheres or planes under stereographic projection.
